Hamburg's main church St. Michaelis is one of the most beautiful baroque churches in Northern Germany and a landmark of Hamburg. The church tower is not only a jewel for Hamburg's cityscape, but also a true treasure on the inside. In the main church there are three organs that can be played together to form a symphonic cathedral organ. The sounds of the Steinmeyer, the Marcussen and the Fernwerk organs envelop the listeners from all sides and fascinates people from all over the world. Let yourself be enchanted by the timbres and the unique acoustics.
Christoph Schoener, church music director of the St. Michaelis church, is one of the most renowned concert organists of his generation and offers us a spectacular programme. Of course, there are also toccatas by Bach and Widor, the most famous organ compositions of all.
Snacks and drinks before the concert are included in the price.
