One for all, all for one: Experience a memorable 14-day bicycle tour of Germany leading up to the Rotary International Convention 2019. We want to show our Rotarian friends from all over the world our diverse homeland while embodying Rotarian values during the journey. The starting point is the Austrian city of Bregenz on Lake Constance. From there the approximately 1,270 km long route leads us over the Swabian Alps in southern Germany, through Tübingen and Heilbronn, up to the historic Würzburg. Further stops include Lutherstadt Wittenberg and Potsdam before moving on to Hamburg.

In the individual stages we want to introduce the Rotarian project Polio Plus through small events. Another theme is healthy nutrition for children, which will presented by the organization "Healthy Kids". A team from their organization will also accompany us.

The cycling event is privately organized by a pastor who has been conducting such tours to the benefit of cancer and chronically ill children for 19 years. The raised saddle money is therefore not to make a profit, but is rather a deductible on the incurred costs (in particular for accommodation, meals, the tour jersey and the rent for the accompanying trucks and cars). The entire daily routine is designed by volunteers. Please read the information carefully (see links).

The daily driving distances are between 80 and 120 kilometers and the motto is "we ride in all weather conditions." Cyclists with very good physical condition are welcome. The tour will be accompanied by the police and the first aid will be provided. The registration deadline is February 28th, 2019.

Subject to change.
